World AIDS Day Symposium

12/03

On December 7, 2013, Rutgers will host presentations from clinicians, scientists, and patients about HIV/AIDS.

Today HIV/AIDS is a treatable chronic illness. Come to this symposium to learn from leading clinicians and scientists about the history of HIV/AIDS, its clinical management and the science that has led to the design of specific anti-HIV drugs. Learn about the molecular basis for why patients develop resistance to anti-HIV drugs and the challenges in the quest for an HIV vaccine. Listen to patient panel discussions to learn about what it means to be living with HIV.

This event is sponsored by the Rutgers Childrens AIDS Network, RCSB Protein Data Bank, and the Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program. Registration is free but required. To register email sdutta2@rcsb.rutgers.edu and provide the names of all attendees.
