UniProtKB description:  Secreted lipase strictly specific to mono- and diacylglycerol, but not triacylglycerol (Ref.3). Hydrolyzes long-chain monoacylglycerols most efficiently with the highest activities observed on 1- and 3- monopalmitoyl-sn-glycerol or 1-monostearoyl-rac-glycerol (Ref.3). Prefers to attack alpha positions to beta positions of monoacylglycerol, but shows no stereospecificity on mono- and diacylglycerol (Ref.3).
