Acts as a lectin that stricly recognizes alpha-1,2-linked mannose moieties and interacts with the yeast cell wall mannan polysaccharide (PubMed:25139159). Can interfere with the fungal actin remodeling resulting to the activation of an actin-dependent cell death (PubMed:26315821).
