This domain is deemed an additional C-terminal region, much like the SPC2-thiolase present in mammals which has an additional C-terminal domain termed the sterol carrier protein-2 (SPC2). However, the additional C-terminal domain in TLP1 folds differently to the traditional SCP2-fold observed in mammalian SPC2-thiolase. The topology of the C-terminal domain of TLP1 is reminiscent of single strand nucleic acid binding proteins [1].	Domain
