Structural analysis of FtsX ECD reveals fold containing two lobes connected by a flexible hinge. Mutations in the hydrophobic cleft between the lobes showed reduction in RipC binding in vitro and inhibition of FtsX function in Mycobacterium smegmatis [1].	Domain
