Component of the inner kinetochore COMA complex, which connects centromere-associated proteins and the outer kinetochore. COMA interacts with other inner kinetochore proteins to form the inner kinetochore constitutive centromere-associated network (CCAN), which serves as a structural platform for outer kinetochore assembly.
