Searches for identifying protein modifications from 3D structures in PDB. Information on more than 200 different types
of protein modifications was collected and curated from Chemical Component Dictionary, RESID and PSI-MOD.
Two drop down lists allow users specify the protein modification source (PDB, RESID, and PSI-MOD) and the associated ID.
The search is based on the selected values.
Select "Source Name RESID" and "ID AA0028 (5-hydroxy-L-lysine)". The search results will be PDB entries
that contain 5-hydroxy-L-lysine.
To view the protein modifications details, select an entry from the results list and review the Sequence tab.
Leave source name and ID unspecified to return all entries with protein modification information. Select a source

Selenomethionine, MSE, is not considered a protein modification, since it appears naturally and is incorporated
into the peptide chain during protein synthesis.
