PDB Deposition Statistics for 2002
In 2002, 3,381 structures were deposited to the PDB, and were
processed by teams at RCSB-Rutgers, Osaka University, and
the European Bioinformatics Institute.
Of the structures deposited, 73% were deposited with a release status
of "hold until publication"; 18% were released as soon as annotation
of the entry was complete; and 9% were held until a particular
date. 80% of these entries were determined by X-ray crystallographic
methods; 13% were determined by NMR methods.
