The RCSB PDB Poster Prize will be awarded for the best student poster presentations at several meetings this year. The award will consist of a related educational book.
Awardees by year:
ACA, ECM, AsCA Meetings - All eligible student posters related to macromolecular crystallography will be considered by the committee.
ISMB - All eligible student posters in the "Structure and Function Prediction" category will be considered by the committee.
ICSG - Posters creatively using the PDB will be considered.
Winners will be notified via email and an announcement will appear on the RCSB PDB website and newsletter.
The RCSB PDB Poster Prize Committee will include a good cross-section of specialists with the majority in macromolecular crystallography. During the poster sessions, the committee will complete their judging after the last poster session that includes eligible posters, and provide the RCSB PDB with the name(s) of the winner and a brief explanation statement by the end of the meeting.
