RCSB
PDB provides a variety of tools and resources for studying the
structures of biological macromolecules and their relationships to
sequence, function, and disease.
The RCSB is a member of the
wwPDB whose mission
is to ensure that the PDB archive remains an international resource
with uniform data.
This site offers tools for browsing, searching, and reporting that
utilize the data resulting from ongoing efforts to create a more
consistent and comprehensive archive.

Dengue virus is a major threat to health in tropical countries around
the world. It is limited primarily to the tropics because it is
transmitted by a tropical mosquito, but even with this limitation,
50-100 million people are infected each year. Most infected people
experience dengue fever, with terrible headaches and fever and rashes
that last a week or two. In some cases, however, the virus weakens
the circulatory system and can lead to deadly hemorrhaging.
Researchers are now actively studying the virus to try to develop
drugs to cure infection, and vaccines to block infection before it
starts.
