We generated complexes with streptomycin, hexa-uridine mRNA, and cognate ASL GAA Phe (data set Phe, Protein Data Bank (PDB) accession code 4DR5) or near-cognate ASLs ( ASL GAG Leu 2 , data set Leu, PD... accession code 4DR6, and ASL GGA Ser , data set Ser, PDB accession code 4DR7) by soaking these compounds into 30S subunit crystals.
Accession codes Coordinates and structure factors have been deposited in the Protein Data Base under accession codes 4DR1, 4DR2, 4DR3, 4DR4, 4DR5, 4DR6, and 4DR7 for data sets Apo, Par, Strep, MAP, Sm-ASL GAA Phe -mRNA, Sm-ASL GAG Leu 2 -mRNA, and Sm-ASL GGA Ser -mRNA, respectively.
