Citations in PubMed
This linkout lists citations, indexed by PubMed, to the Primary Citation for this PDB ID.
Data mentions are occurrences of PDB IDs in the full text articles from the
PubMedCentral Open Access Subset
of currently about 1 million articles. For each article, the sentences containing the PDB ID are listed.
Article titles can be filtered by keywords and sorted by year.

A poxvirus Bcl-2-like gene family involved in regulation of host immune response: sequence similarity and evolutionary history.
(2010) Virol J 7
PubMed: 20230632 | PubMedCentral: PMC2907574 | DOI: 10.1186/1743-422X-7-59
Conserved residues in the multiple sequence alignment were mapped on the N1 structure (PDB:2I39).
Since a common fold is assumed for all families, the sequence information was placed in the context of one of the known three-dimensional structures, that of N1 (PDB:2I39) (Figure 1B ).
Predicted secondary structure is indicated below each block of sequences (orange: alpha-helix; blue: beta-sheet), except for A46 and N1, for which secondary structures of A52 (PDB:2VVW) and N1 (PDB:2I39), respectively, are shown.

Inhibition of apoptosis and NF-?B activation by vaccinia protein N1 occur via distinct binding surfaces and make different contributions to virulence.
(2011) PLoS Pathog 7
PubMed: 22194685 | PubMedCentral: PMC3240604 | DOI: 10.1371/journal.ppat.1002430
Structures of N1 mutants were solved by isomorphous difference fourier synthesis, using the high resolution structure of N1 (PDB ID 2I39) as a starting model.
