PDB ID Mentions in PubMed Central

Data mentions are occurrences of PDB IDs in the full text articles from the PubMedCentral Open Access Subset of currently about 1 million articles. For each article, the sentences containing the PDB ID are listed. Article titles can be filtered by keywords and sorted by year.

Functional relevance of dynamic properties of Dimeric NADP-dependent Isocitrate Dehydrogenases.

(2012) BMC Bioinformatics 13 Suppl 17

PubMed: 23281650 | PubMedCentral: PMC3521221 | DOI: 10.1186/1471-2105-13-S17-S2

The cytosolic Human IDH shows very low negatively correlated motion for the NADP discrimination loop with respect to the central domain, in both the active [PDB: 1T0L ] and inactive [PDB: 1T09 ] forms... whereas in both PmIDH and in YmIDH, this correllation is very strong (~1.0).

The complex structures of isocitrate dehydrogenase from Clostridium thermocellum and Desulfotalea psychrophila suggest a new active site locking mechanism.

(2012) FEBS Open Bio 2

PubMed: 23650595 | PubMedCentral: PMC3642140 | DOI: 10.1016/j.fob.2012.06.003

In the open structures of Tm IDH and human cytosolic IDH ( Hc IDH; PDB 1T09 ) the same angle was found to be ∼30° and ∼24° respectively [9,16] , thus in this sense Ct I... H-Open is most similar to Tm IDH.

Cancer missense mutations alter binding properties of proteins and their interaction networks.

(2013) PLoS One 8

PubMed: 23799087 | PubMedCentral: PMC3682950 | DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0066273

Specifically, we found that heterodimers in the inactive state of IDH1 (PDB code 1T09) were considerably stabilized by 8.6 kcal/mol.

Structural and Functional analysis of Staphylococcus aureus NADP-dependent IDH and its comparison with Bacterial and Human NADPdependent IDH.

(2014) Bioinformation 10

PubMed: 24616559 | PubMedCentral: PMC3937580 | DOI: 10.6026/97320630010081

Only 24% sequence identity was observed with both human NADP dependent IDHs (PDB: 1T09 and 1T0L) and the structural comparative studies indicated extensive structural variations with an RMSD values of... 14.284Å and 10.073Å respectively.

The structural superimposition of S. aureus IDH with both human IDH isoforms (PDB ID: 1T09, 1TOL) showed considerable variations in both domain and non domain regions and these differences were also observed in the sequence and active site structures ( Figure 4 ) [ 12 , 13 ].
