We modeled the epical domain movement from the GroEL monomer (modeled from chain A of PDB code 1SS8) to the GroEL-GroES-ADP7 monomer (modeled from chain A of PDB code 1SX4).

Figure 1 shows an illustration of the closed structure of the GroEL 7-membered single ring complex taken from PDB code 1SS8 (Figure 1(a) ) and the opened structure (GroEL-GroES-ADP7) taken from PDB code 1SX4 (Figure 1(b) ).
