Citations in PubMed
This linkout lists citations, indexed by PubMed, to the Primary Citation for this PDB ID.
Data mentions are occurrences of PDB IDs in the full text articles from the
PubMedCentral Open Access Subset
of currently about 1 million articles. For each article, the sentences containing the PDB ID are listed.
Article titles can be filtered by keywords and sorted by year.
Protein characterization of a candidate mechanism SNP for Crohn's disease: the macrophage stimulating protein R689C substitution.
(2011) PLoS One 6

The model was built by super positioning the crystal structures of MSPβ (PDB entry 1ASU) and RON-Sema-PSI (Chao and Herzberg, unpublished) on the crystal structure of the HGFβ/MET... Sema-PSI complex (PDB entry 1SHY).
Structure modeling A comparative model of the MSPβ in complex with RON Sema-PSI was built based on the available crystal structures of MSPβ (PDB entry 1ASU), RON Sema-PSI (Chao and Herzberg, unpublished), and the crystal structure of the homologous protein complex HGFβ/MET Sema-PSI (PDB entry 1SHY) (HGFβ and MSPβ share 43% sequence identity, and the Sema-PSI domains of MET and RON share 29% sequence identity).

The DALI program , identified the Met Sema domain (PDB code 1SHY) as the closest to the RON Sema domain, with Z = 41.1 and root mean square deviation (RMSD) of 3.1 Å ... or 462 Cα atoms.
The blue dots below the Met Sema sequence show residues that contact the HGFβ ligand (PDB code 1SHY) (Stamos et al., 2004).
(A) Stereoscopic representation of superposed RON Sema-PSI (blue) and Met Sema-PSI (PDB entry codes 2UZX (gold) and 1SHY (pink) structures, viewed down the β-propeller as in Figure 1A .
Disulfide bonds of RON Sema are colored gold and those of Met Sema (PDB code 1SHY), red.
(B) Surface and ribbon representation of the modeled RON Sema-PSI/MSPβ complex derived based on the free MSPβ (PDB code 2ASU) and RON Sema-PSI structures superposed onto the structure of Met Sema-PSI/HGFβ (PDB entry 1SHY).
Anti-c-Met antibodies recognising a temperature sensitive epitope, inhibit cell growth.

The crystal structure of c-Met extracellular domain, accession number 1SHY, was obtained from Protein Data Base (PDB).
The antibody binding regions were also mapped onto the crystal structure of c-Met, PDB accession number 1SHY (Figure 1B & C ).
Crystal structure was obtained from Protein Data Bank (PDB), accession number 1SHY.
Mapping of seeMet 2 epitope onto the crystal structure of c-Met (PBD 1SHY), revealed that the main epitope fell into two distinct clusters: residues 166 to 168 ‘IEE’ and 172 to 175 ‘CPDC’ (Figure 10C ).

RON and MSP β were globally aligned to the Met/HGF β complex (PDB code 1SHY).
RON Sema/PSI and MSP β were globally aligned to the complex (PDB code 1SHY) of Met Sema/PSI (pale green) with HGF β (pink).
Homology model of MSP β bound to RON Sema/PSI A homology model of MSP β bound to human RON Sema/PSI was made using the coordinates from the protein data bank for MSP β (2ASU) , for RON Sema/PSI (4FWW) , and the Met Sema/PSI in complex with HGF β (1SHY) .
