Moreover, we have run additional calculations for process IV starting with the NMR derived structure of monomeric C6A/C111S/Q133E/F50E/G51E apoSOD1 S–S (PDB accession code 1RK7 [ Banci et al.,... 2003 ]), in which the electrostatic and Zn-binding loops are disordered, rather than from a monomer of the native dimer X-ray structure (PDB accession code 1HL5 [ Strange et al., 2003 ]).
