The structure was determined at 2.9 Å resolution with the molecular replacement approach using the FlhD structure (PDB code: 1G8E) and our YdiV structure as searching models.
The dimerization pattern of FlhD in the YdiV–FlhD complex is very similar to that of FlhD homodimers (PDB code:1G8E), where residues Cys 65/B and Cys 65/H are connected by a disulfide bond ( 45 ).
